MARCH - PHOTO CHALLENGE

I received an invite from my friend, Jolan, yesterday to see if I was up for the March photo a day challenge from the fat mum slim blog… thought it would be a fun thing  to participate in… here's the challenge.

1 - UP

The view of my ceiling rose from my sofa... perhaps a little bit lazy - but it is a beautiful feature of our flat

2 - FRUIT

Perfect start to the weekend...vodka, soda & a squeeze of lemon!

3 - YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD

The view from my balcony. I feel so priviliged living in such a gorgeous location, we even have Upstairs Downstairs film down our road. It's great to watch the transformation.

4 - BEDSIDE

All my essentials - skincare, jewellery, photos, perfume, haircare, pile of magazines & false eyelashes - check, check, check!

5 - SMILE

Everything is better in life if you wear a smile!

6 - 5pm

 5pm is a happy time for me, it means  there's only 1/2 hour remaining at work!! As you can see, my work space is a bit of a hectic mess!

7 - SOMETHING YOU'VE WORN

Usually there's a Hansel & Gretal type trail of clothes following me from the bathroom to my bedroom.

8 - WINDOW


The afternoon sun coming in through our french door windows, with the view of the park - bliss.

9 - RED


Meet my lovely new nails...I normally have terrible half chewed / chipped embarrassments. But my friend was having a shellac night and I thought I'd treat myself and give it a go. I LOVE them. So nice not having to worry about manky nails.

10 - LOUD

This is the best bell ever - FACT! I decided to join the cycle to work scheme and got this amazing Pashley bike Britannia the bell has the poshest, loudest "excuse me" ding dong to it! 

11 - SOMEONE YOU TALKED TO TODAY

12 - FORK

 Yum yum yum...cake on vintage crockery eaten with a dessert fork always tastes better!

14 - CLOUDS


I love this pretty little necklace from "happyment" on Etsy   Pink Cloud Necklace - Enamel On Copper, Glass Raindrop

It almost makes rainy cloudy days bareable!

15 - CAR

This Citroen has been in Vas' family for over 20 years - unfortunately it died on us the other day.
RIP  car AKA - "The Yacht"

17 - GREEN

Love the way flowers can brighten up a room. These ones seemed to last for ever and were pretty cheap

18 - A CORNER OF YOUR ROOM

This is my favourite corner of my flat... I saw some amazing Natasha Law art work aaaages ago and knew that they would fit in perfectly, so set about buying canvas' and paints that complimented our ever so dodgy pre-painted burgundy walls It was great to paint again...must do more! The lamp was a complete bargain and the chesterfield sofa is one of my favourite and treasured belonging.

25 - BREAKFAST

A treat of Starbucks mocha and M&S pastry...mmm

30 - A TOY

My gorgeous little niece, Esme and her bunny.
