Had such a lovely Sunday with my sister, Jo and Miss Onions at our first ever Curious Cases sale. I sold various bits and made £60...(which is going towards a shiny new pair of Ray-Bans so, a good day was had by all. It's inspired us all to get on with crafting and we are now on the hunt for our next venue.
And after a couple of people asking for a business card here is my first draft and a couple of pics from the day. x

getya.getya.getya.getya craft on
and so it begins... I've been hitting ebay hard for denim castoffs and have managed to pick up a couple of good bargains... I mean - 99p denim hotpants!
Also a label embosser, which is now my favourite toy ever and my desk and flat are slowly being covered with unecessary labels
So armed with my new tools I did a trial on my fave denim shirt last night...

Lipstick on my collar
I'm so excited, we're going to finally start up our curious case sale. I've got a new crafty spring in my step. Have bought loads of little bits and bobs and have been googling DIY this and that for hours.
So here's a sneaky peak of some of the projects I'm going to be busying my time with over the coming evenings.
It's all about the collar!
Peter Pan Collars - I've been in love with these for ages so sniffed the air and found this amazing blog Honestly... WTF they've got this really simple and pretty tutorial
Sequin sparkler - love the glitz of this one from Urban Outfitters just need a length of sequinned material and a ribbon...hey presto.
Just saw this amazing looking tutorial on because im addicted - I absolutely love this blog and yet again they've come up with a simple, yet stunning DIY feature. T.shirts and suede string now added to the shopping list!
I'll keep you updated with pictures once I have all the materials in... *please don't let it be another craft fail*

Pearly Queen - little simple details that transform old battered shirts - I have loads of denim shirts lurking in the back of my wardrobe just crying out for a makeover. Found this on etsy and thought... I can do this...

Fishytail
HOOORAY!
Marvel at my fishtail plait, now please bare in mind this is my first attempt and Kirsty does have enough hair to supply a bald convention in baldsville.
Think next time I might experiment with weaving through a colour as well.

B. Squad Night
I had my first of many bridesmaids nights. Wanted to make it
a little bit special so enlisted the help of my chiefy Kirsty to help me
perform another potential craft fail! I’d been on Pinterest to get a little bit
of inspiration and came across this lovely balloon idea from http://lovelygreenlifestyle.blogspot.co.uk
Kirsty and I made up some cupcakes, spent the whole night
watching them explode all over the oven and then trying to ice them, scraping
off the icing, having another go…scraping it off, watching a ‘How to ice’
video, retyring, scraping it off again and finally settling on using a spatula to
pile it on! We found that by sticking a berry and a little flag on top seemed
to help no end!
